The Yale Valley Arts Festival was founded by our beloved Julia Stoll in 2003. Julia lost her 17 year battle with cancer in 2012. We are honoring her wish to continue the Arts Festival and present the “11th annual Yale Valley Arts Festival; Where Art and Nature Meet,” May 17th, 18th and 19th, 2013, at the lush natural setting of the Anderson Lodge in Southwest Washington.
The weekend celebration of art features a Plein Air, landscape painting workshop led by Phyllis Trowbridge and includes a Native American Ceremonial program. The cost for the workshop, including instruction, lodging and meals is $325.
On May 19th, The CLARK COUNTY BENIGN BAND performs at 2:00PM, refreshments provided. After, a Northwest salmon buffet will be served in the Courtway Conference Room overlooking an extraordinary view of the beautiful Yale Valley, our featured musicians, the world-renowned 3 LEG TORSO will perform. This evening you will hear the quintet play original compositions based on an eclectic synthesis of chamber music, tango, klezmer, latin, and Roma (Gypsy) music. The cost is $40 for the concert series and dinner buffet. Please contact us if you wish a vegetarian meal.
